Creamy chicken & vegetable pie (with step-by-step photos)

British cuisine makes you warm and happy. One of my best comfort food are pies, especially with chicken and mushrooms. My chicken pie is creamy and really tasty. I hope you will like it :). It is perfect dish for rainy Summer days. 
















Ingredients:


1 smaller onion


1 small leek


2 cloves garlic


2 carrots

Eton Mess






Eton Mess is the simplest dessert ever! You need just 3 ingredients to be taken to taste heaven :)



Ingredients for 4 people:





300 ml double cream
2 tablespoons icing sugar
around 16 strawberries (or other fruits like raspberries)
4 medium meringues

Apple crumble with oats and almond flour






Crumble is one of the best comfort dishes. It is warm, sweet and simple to make.




Recipe addapted from "Bake" by Rachel AllenIngredients:


5 apples (I have used granny smith and gala)
1 tbsp water
2 tbsp sugar
75g plain flour
75g almond flour
2 tsp ground cinnamon
75g butter, chilled and cubed
30g porridge oats
75g sugar

Lemon Drizzle Cake with Lemon Icing and candied cherries








The Daring Baker's February 2012 host was - Lis! Lisa stepped in last minute and challenged us to create a quick bread we could call our own. DEVONSHIRE SCONES







This is lovely Mary Berry recipe. Scones ore one of the best British sweets. I am absolutely in love with them :).
