This weekend you would be having a small party at your place and you also invited your best friend. But this has also made you a little tensed, as your best friend is now vegetarian. Your mother being a seasoned cook, shares with you her delicious vegetarian appetizer recipe; it is stuffed mushrooms.

How do you prepare this vegetarian appetizer?

You are aware that your friend loves mushrooms. This delicious appetizer has been very popular in the various parties that your mother had arranged in her home. The basic ingredients needed to prepare stuffed mushrooms are:
Whole mushrooms: 12
Any type of vegetable oil: 1 tbs
Finely chopped garlic: 1 tbs
Fresh Parmesan cheese: ? cup
Ground pepper: ? teaspoon
Onion powder: ? teaspoon
Ground cayenne pepper: ? teaspoon

Below is the preparation process to make stuffed mushrooms appetizer.

Before you start preparing the delicious appetizer you have to clean the mushrooms properly with a damp towel. Do not directly wash the mushrooms with water, as their texture would get softened and the whole taste of the appetizer would be spoilt.
Once cleaned, break and remove the stems of the mushrooms. Now chop the stem portion of the mushrooms finely, discarding any rough ends.
Prepare a baking tray and spray it lightly with cooking oil. Then preheat the oven to around 350 F.

In a skillet heat oil till heat reaches medium temperature. Now in the heated skillet add the finely chopped garlic and the chopped mushroom stem portions. Once the mushrooms have been properly fried and the moisture has been removed from them you can leave them to cool off to room temperature.
Now in a clean glass bowl, add the fried mushroom and garlic mixture. In the same mixture add the other ingredients, which would make the appetizer delicious. These are parmesan cheese, black and cayenne pepper and onion powder. Blend all the ingredients well and the stuffing mixture should have a thick consistency.
Now with a small spoon, add the mushroom stuffing gently to the crown of the mushrooms.
Place the stuffed mushrooms gently on the baking tray. You do not want to break the mushrooms and destroy the presentation of this delicious appetizer.
In the preheated oven, the stuffed mushroom appetizer is baked for around twenty minutes.

5. Pour the mixture you've made into a blender or food processor and blend for 1 minute till you have a smooth puree.

6. Pour into a nice, non-stick wide pan and bring the recipe to a low boil over a medium flame.


7. Cook for around 25 to 30 minutes and keep stirring to ensure the recipe doesn't burn. Keep cooking till the recipe is thick and opaque.

8. Preheat oven to 80? C.

9. Line rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper.

10. Put the recipe on the baking sheets and use spatula or fork to spread evenly into as thin, wide a rectangle as possible. Make sure the spread is not too thick, but isn't translucent as you spread it. You want to be able to roll the recipe once it's done, without causing it to break.

11. Cook the recipe in the oven for 5 to 6 hours, in batches if required. The final recipe should feel flexible but not too sticky.

12. Remove the baking sheets from the oven and transfer the parchment sheets to cook through.

13. Put your completed recipe on waxed paper sheets without covering it completely. Leave around a centimetre of border hanging out on all sheets.

14. Store your completed recipe at room temperature in an airtight container for up to a week.

* ? cup warm water
* Salt according to taste

For topping of pizza recipe:

* 1 can whole tomatoes in juice
* 2 large garlic cloves, crushed
* 2 tablespoons olive oil
* 4 basil leaves plus more for sprinkling

* 6 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced

Directions:

1. Make dough for the pizza by stirring together yeast, 1 tablespoon flour, and ? cup warm water in a large bowl. Keep it aside until surface appears slightly creamy, about 5 minutes.

2. Add 1 ? cups flour, remaining ? cup water, salt, and oil and stir very well until smooth.

3. Stir in enough flour for dough to begin to pull away from side of bowl for the dough of the pizza recipe.

4. Knead on a floured surface, constantly adding more flour if dough becomes too sticky. Knead the dough for the pizza recipe until smooth and elastic.

5. Put in a lightly oiled and let it rise in at warm place until it doubles. It takes around an hour.

6. Make tomato sauce for the pizza recipe by grinding tomatoes with juice to make a chunky pur?e.


7. Stir the garlic in oil in a small heavy saucepan over a medium flame until fragrant and pale golden.

8. Stir in the tomato pur?e, basil, sugar and salt to taste. Simmer and keep stirring occasionally, until it thickens and reduces for around 40 minutes. Add salt to taste and cool.

9. Heat pizza stone while dough rises.

10. At least 45 minutes before baking pizza recipe, put the pizza stone in the oven and preheat oven to 260?C.

11. Make the base for the pizza recipe by dusting the dough with flour and putting on a baking sheet. Pat out dough evenly with your fingers and roll into a nice base.

12. Assemble the pizza recipe by spreading sauce over dough, leaving a 1-inch.

13. Layer the cheese on top of the pizza recipe nicely.

14. Slide pizza on parchment onto pizza stone.

15. Bake until dough is crisp and browned and cheese is golden and bubbling in spots.

16. Using a baking sheet, transfer pizza to a cutting board and cool 5 minutes.

17. Sprinkle the pizza recipe with basil leaves and slice.

18. Your pizza recipe is ready to be devoured!

5. When the onions are almost cooked, put the noodles into the boiling salted water stir very well.

6. Wait for the onion to get cooked completely for the pasta recipe and add in the broth, ham, and pea.

7. Increase the flame and boil very well until the broth is reduced by about half. Stir in the half and half and continue to simmer the sauce. Add the lemon zest, juice, salt and pepper. Add a little salt and then taste the sauce for the pasta recipe and see if you need more.

8. Reduce the flame of the sauce way to low while you drain the pasta.

9. Stir in the pasta into the sauce, add in the parsley, and taste. If the seasoning of the pasta recipe is fine, then perfect. If not, add more salt or pepper or lemon juice according to taste.

10. Your pasta recipe is ready to be served.

11. When serving, pass around the bread crumbs and cheese to have along with your delicious pasta recipe.

* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon soy sauce

Mix flour, egg, baking soda, cornstarch, oil, salt and soy sauce. Dip chicken into batter and fry until golden. Drain. Cut chicken crosswise into 1/2-inch slices. Arrange on a heated platter. Keep warm. Pour Lemon Sauce over and garnish with lemon slices.

Lemon Sauce:
* 1/2 cup water
* 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
* 1/4 cup lemon juice
* 1/4 cup honey
* 1 tablespoon catsup
* 1/2 teaspoon chicken bouillon
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 clove garlic, minced
* 1 tablespoon cornstarch
* 1 tablespoon cold water

Heat water, lemon zest, lemon juice, honey, catsup, chicken bouillon, salt and garlic to boiling. Mix cornstarch and water and stir in. Cook and stir for 30 seconds or until thickened. Serve hot.

Making Delicious Non-Vegetarian Lasagna Couldn't Have Been Easier (rajiv tiwari)

Yummy Turkey Lasagna

Ingredients:
* ? pound Minced turkey
* 12 ounce can of spaghetti sauce
* 15 ounces ricotta cheese
* 8 ounces shredded Mozzarella
* 1 ounce Parmesan
* 6 uncooked lasagna noodles
* ? cup of water
* Grated Parmesan garnish

Directions:

1. Cook the turkey thoroughly till all the pinkness goes away in a skilled over a medium flame. Take all the fat off.

2. Carefully add in spaghetti sauce, stirring continuously. Make sure it's heated through.

3. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, mix the ricotta, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese thoroughly till it's all combined.

4. In a lasagna baking dish, spread around 1 ? cups of sauce you've made with turkey and tomato sauce. Add 3 lasagna noodles on top and top it with ? the cheese mixture. Repeat layers one more time. Put all the remaining turkey sauce on top.

5. Slowly pour water around edges of lasagna baking dish from the inside. Cover very well using foil.

6. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake 10 minutes more.

7. Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes before serving and garnish with grated parmesan.

Easy To Make Chicken Lasagna

Ingredients:
* 2 ? cups of diced and cooked chicken
* 1 cup chicken broth
* ? cup milk
* 28 ounce can plum tomatoes
* 2 minced cloves of garlic

* 1 bay leaf
* Pinch ground thyme
* Dash of cayenne pepper
* 3 tablespoons olive oil
* ? teaspoon sugar
* Salt
* 8 ounces lasagna noodles
* 3 tablespoons flour
* Pepper
* ? cup chopped parsley
* 8 ounces shredded mozzarella
* ? cup grated Parmesan

Directions:

1. Mix the tomatoes, garlic, bay leaf, thyme, cayenne pepper, olive oil, sugar, and salt in a pan. Boil and reduce heat, letting it simmer covered for 20 minutes.

2. Cook lasagna noodles in boiling salted water till al dente. Drain, cool by running cold water and then pat dry.

3. In a separate bowl, mix a little cold water into the flour. Combine into a smooth paste.

4. Heat the chicken broth and milk in a pan. Add flour paste to the liquid; seasoning with salt and pepper. Slowly add in parsley. Keep stirring and cooking till the mixture thickens and boils.

5. Pour a thin layer of tomato mixture into a lasagna baking dish. Top with a layer of lasagna noodles and add a layer of chicken; sprinkling some mozzarella on top. Add a layer of chicken broth white sauce, topping with another layer of lasagna, more tomato sauce, another layer of chicken, mozzarella cheese, and white sauce. Repeat till the last layer is remaining lasagna noodles.

6. Garnish lasagna with the grated Parmesan. Bake chicken lasagna at 375? for around 30 minutes till brown.

How To Make A Delicious Moroccan Lamb Tagine Recipe (rajiv tiwari)

It's always nice to try a recipe from a different cuisine altogether. Everybody who loves to cook, loves experimenting with recipes from places all over the world. This Lamb Tagine recipe is an authentic Moroccan dish that promises flavour and aromas that you'll never have experienced before.

Ingredients:

* ? cup dried chickpeas
* 2 ? garlic cloves (Chop 1 ? , keep remaining 1 whole)
* ? large cinnamon stick, broken
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 1 ? pounds of cubed lamb shoulder
* Kosher salt
* Ground black pepper
* ? diced onion
* 2 ? teaspoons Ras-el-Hanout
* ? tablespoon chopped ginger
* ? cup canned diced tomatoes with juices
* 1 ? cups of chicken stock (with low salt)
* ? cup halved dried apricots
* Steamed couscous
* Chopped cilantro

Directions:

1. The pre-preparation of your recipe starts the night before. Place chickpeas in a saucepan and cover with water. Soak it overnight.

2. To start cooking the recipe, remove all the water from the saucepan and the whole garlic clove and cinnamon stick. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Reduce the flame to medium and cook till the chickpeas are tender. Drain and keep separately.


3. In another pot, heat oil over a medium flame. Season the lamb with salt and pepper and cook until the lamb is brown on all sides.

4. Keep the lamb aside in a bowl for a later part of the recipe. Add onion to pot, reduce the flame and add salt and pepper. Keep stirring and saut? until its soft and just starting to brown. Add the chopped garlic, Ras-el-Hanout and ginger and stir for another minute.

5. Add in the tomatoes and lamb and bring it to a boil again. Slowly pour in the chicken stock and keep boiling.

6. Reduce the flame to and cover, leaving a small opening. Let it simmer and keep stirring occasionally, until lamb is tender and well cooked. This can take some time.

7. Add in the chickpeas and simmer till heated thoroughly. Add the apricots and simmer some more. Add salt and pepper according to taste. Your lamb tagine recipe is done!

8. Serve couscous on a large plate making a hole in the middle. Put the tagine in the centre and sprinkle cilantro all over.
