Home-made Pita Bread






I try to eat just home-made food. It is healthier plus gives me satisfaction. Pita bread is perfect for lunch or simple supper.

And remember that you can freeze baked bread.



Use pita bread to make delicious Souvlaki.



Ingredients:





pinch of sugar
1 smaller teaspoon salt
around 1.5 cup plain flour
0.5 cup warm water
heaped teaspoon dried yeast

Jagodzianki: Polish Sweet Buns with Blueberries






(Przepis po polsku)



Jagodzianki* are traditional Polish sweet buns. Usually they are baked during Summer. You can buy them in every cake shop/bakery in Poland.



*"Jagoda" means blueberry in Polish :)







Ingredients for 7 big buns:





250-280 grams plain flour
1 teaspoon dried yeasts
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
half cup warm (not hot!) whole milk

Walnut schnecken







I found recipe for schnecken in "How to be a domestic goddess" by Nigella Lawson. I have changed ingredients for filling. I love eat schnecken for the evening snack with hot chocolate.



Ingredients for dough:

500g plain flour
50g caster sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
7g easy blend yeast
75g unsalted butter
150ml milk
2 large eggs

200g chopped or grated walnuts

Korean pancake with brown sugar and walnut syrup






I love Korea! I have been looking for easy recipe for korean sweets. Hoddeok is one of them. You might eat it with nutella, chesse filings or you can make it in traditional way.

This recipe is for 8 hoddeoks.



What you need:



1 cup warm milk or water

2 teaspoons of dry yeast

pinch of salt

1 tablespoon of oil

2 tablespoons of sugar

2 cups of flour
